We always hear about Industry 4.0 on television, on the radio, in the newspapers…
By now we understand that for Italy Industry 4.0 means bringing companies to their maximum efficiency and competitiveness.

But what if I asked you to name the factors that lead the company to be more efficient?
When I ask this question, you immediately think of technological factors such as: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data, BlockChain etc…
In reality we are leaving out a crucial factor: people.

Hello! I’m Enrico Aramini CEO and Founder of HTC and today I want to talk to you about how technology can be a very useful tool to grow your company, but without a good organization and people who know how to exploit it, it can even become useless or harmful.

Industry 4.0 is not just about technology, but also about the human factor. Industry 4.0 leads companies to have a sociotechnical system in which the human factor and the technological factor coexist within the company, thus generating a phenomenon of integration between the two different production factors. Automation implies a work environment in which workers and equipment not only deal with carrying out each of their tasks, but rather cooperate, giving rise to a production system in which the human factor and the technological factor are integrated and the purpose is to perform the tasks together. This industrial revolution is based on a concept of self-organization that involves a change of approach on the part of the operator (new knowledge, new ways of working, new relationships of interdependence), but above all new responsibilities.

  • The vertical one, between subjects belonging to different hierarchical levels of the same sector, as between equipment operator and department manager.
  • The horizontal one, between subjects of the same hierarchical level but belonging to different sectors, as happens between operators of different departments who must exchange information on the progress of each other’s activities or another example between operators and their machines. On this last point, Zyronit has a lot to say…
  • The other dimension is the transversal one that allows communication between subjects belonging to different hierarchical levels and also to different sectors, such as the communication that can take place between the quality control manager and the equipment operator.

 This communication enables operations to become proactive and thus enables operators to respond to changes more quickly. For example, in front of a data gather by the operator that generates a non-compliance, the operator himself can request a maintenance intervention directly through Zyronit.

So I hope I have transmitted the most important message: the factor that can further maximize the efficiency of your company are the people supported by the technology that we listed at the beginning as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data, BlockChain, etc.
